Wade Roger-Lund was born in Worcester but grew up in Johannesburg. Given the nickname Fat kid, by his sister, he is anything but. His hobbies include motorbikes and mountain bikes and he has been racing motorbikes since the age of 4.

Dawie Botha is the head winemaker and has been with Anthonij Rupert Wyne in the red wine cellar since its inception in 2005 and became the head winemaker in 2012.

In 2008 Adi Badenhorst packed it all in and bought a 60-hectare piece of land in the Paardeberg with his cousin Hein. They now proudly farm together, practice biological farming and make natural wines in the traditional manner.
